DIRT FARM

Set in the heart of the Brecon Beacons and formerly known as Black Mountains Cycle Centre (BMCC). Dirt Farm is a community-focused bike park with trails catering for intermediate to professional riders.

GETHIN MTB

Gethin MTB is a company located in Merthyr Tydfil, next to Gethin Woods, that provides quality bike hire, guided rides and MIAS (Mountain Bike Instructor Award Scheme) qualifications. They cater for Mountain Bikers, Roadies and BMX bandits, supplying training to match your personal needs.

DARE VALLEY GRAVITY BIKE PARK

According to MBR Magazine, Dare Valley Family Gravity Bike Park is the 'First Family bike Park in the UK', boasting rollable blue trails with uplift and bike hire! Located within the Dare Valley Country Park, The Dare Valley Gravity Bike Park in Aberdare, South Wales has miles of blue graded cross country trails designed for adventurous families and beginner and intermediate riders.

AFAN FOREST

Natural Resources Wales’ Afan Forest Park is the fastest growing mountain bike area in Britain and located only minutes from the M4 it’s perfect for those wanting to reach a variety of fantastic riding without the hassle of long journeys. With 6 superb flowing trails ranging from 7km to over 40km and more all-weather singletrack trails than any other MBWales centre – you simply have to check it out!

TIRPENTWYS

Carved into Welsh Hillside in the South Wales valleys you'll find some of the best hand built mountain bike tracks in the area. The trails are maintained by a bunch of dedicated trail crew members determined to continue the work and legacy of our fellow builder and founder Ryan Bullimore.

ZIP WORLD

Home to Phoenix zip line, Tower Climber obstacle course and Tower Flyer zip line, Zip World Tower is the 4th Zip World site to open, and is the 1st to be situated in south Wales. Phoenix is the world’s fastest seated zip line, with 4 parallel lines in 2 separate zip zones. This zip line will see you flying across the Welsh countryside. Tower Climber is an adventure activity course, set high above the ground! The biggest of its kind in the UK. PEN-Y-FAN

FOUR WATERFALLS WALK

The Four Waterfalls Walk is a famous trail located near Ystradfellte, Powys, in South Wales. The trail boasts stunning scenery and access to ‘The Four Waterfalls’ in the Brecon Beacons National Park. The four falls are: Sgwd Clun-Gwyn, Sgwd Isaf Clun-Gwyn, Sgwd y Pannwr, and Sgwd yr Eira.

TAF FECHAN NATURE RESERVE

Taf Fechan Nature Reserve is a 2.5km stretch of dramatic wooded limestone gorge cut by the River Taf Fechan, between the bridges of Pontsarn and Cefn Coed to the North of Merthyr Tydfil. It lies adjacent to the eastern side of the popular Taff Trail and the reserve incorporates much of the area notified as Cwm Taf Fechan Woodlands Site of Special Scientific Interest.

PENDERYN DISTILLERY

Penderyn Distillery is the home of Welsh Whisky, Wales’ first whisky distillery in over 100 years, and pioneers in World Whisky. During either the hour-long tour or Masterclass, you will learn about the founding of Penderyn, how their award-winning whisky is made and what makes it so unique. See their mill, mash tun, innovative single copper-pot Penderyn stills and latest additions. At the end of your tour sample some of their products in the Tasting Bar.

MORLAIS CASTLE

Overlooking Trefechan, you can hike around the remains of Morlais Castle. Originally built around 1270 by the Earl of Gloucester and Lord of Glamorgan, Gilbert de Clare, on land claimed by Humphrey de Bohun - This dispute culminated in the Battle of Maesvaynor, in 1291. It was briefly held by Welsh rebels three years later, during the Welsh Rebellion of the thirteenth century. After Edward I won his war against the rebels, he destroyed parts of the castle to prevent it from ever being used as a stronghold again.
